The Division of Tarlac Province in cooperation with the Provincial Population Office (PPO) will conduct the Division Population Quiz (POPQUIZ) 2012 to be held on March 15, 2012 in Social Hall, Tarlac National High School at exactly 1 o’clock in the afternoon with the intent to measure the level of the awareness of high school students on population issues and concerns.
Sixty-two (62) fourth year students were expected to compete in this year’s Division POPQUIZ.
Registration will start at exactly 11:30AM.
Medals and certificates will be given to the winners and to all the participants and coaches.
The winner will fight it out with 17 division champions/contestants in the region. The winner in the regional contest will represent Tarlac Province Region in the National Contest scheduled on April 15-19 in Iloilo and try to triplicate the gold medal finish of Imee Rose B. Estrada and Jose Mari G. Agustin (both students of Tarlac National High School) who emerged as champions in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 National POPQUIZ respectively.
